The County Clerk is the election authority for Taney County and its political
subdivisions. This duty includes conducting all public elections, voter
registration and filing the appropriate documents with the Secretary of States
Office. Currently Taney County has 34,718 registered voters. For

Check Your Voter Registration Status / Preview Ballots
The County Clerk is the liaison between the County Assessor, and the
Collector of Revenue. It is the clerk's responsibility to keep track
of the tax rates levied by all of the county's political subdivisions
(school districts, cities, fire districts, etc). The Clerk also
serves as the secretary to the Board of Equalization, to which taxpayers
can appeal their property assessments.

The County Clerks office takes minutes of open meetings. You can
obtain a copy of the minutes by
requesting a copy from our office located at 132 David Street, Forsyth,
MO 65653.
This office also issues Notary applications and ATV licenses.
